Primary application
Professional fireworks scripting and choreography
Show Director is the principal application for creating musical and non-musical fireworks shows. It combines cue timing, effect assignment, sequencing, positions, production information, and export preparation in one professional scripting environment.
Show Director can be used with or without visual simulation.
Supporting applications
Each application focuses on a particular part of the creative or production process. Designers can combine them as needed without making every application part of every project.
Effect creation and visual definition
FXGenerator allows designers to create, modify, and organize visual fireworks effects for use within the Show Director environment.
Particle-level effect creation
Particle Generator provides direct control over particle systems for creating and experimenting with custom fireworks effects.
Site geometry and spatial design
The 3D Position Editor is used to define firing positions, spatial relationships, and site layouts for shows that require geometric or three-dimensional planning.
Visual-production workflow
Producer supports the preparation and organization of the visual production derived from a Show Director project.
Playback, review and presentation
Viewer allows Show Director projects to be reviewed and presented without requiring the full authoring environment, supporting project playback, review, presentation, and distribution to collaborators or clients where applicable.
Technology and real-time show control
Show Director Control is the suite application for real-time show execution, firing-system interfacing, script validation and distribution, manual or automatic firing, synchronization, and DMX-controlled effects.
